Traditional outfits of Jharkhand are influenced by the multi-tribal population of the state. There are also complex dressing codes or dresses for specific occasions, let alone choosing, for example, the Santhal tribe prefers plain but nice clothing. Men go naked though they put on a dress called a “bhagwan” which looks more like a dhoti while the women wear a brightly colored cloth put around their waist and called “parhan.”
